‘Allmans of Bandon, a century of distilling’ with Tom Brennan

One of Bandon’s most iconic buildings – Allmans Bandon Distillery is located near Bandon Mart. Founded in the 1820s by James C. Allman, it was converted from a cotton mill into a whiskey distillery. The presentation will explore the Allman’s Distillery story from the Overton Cotton Mill near the Bridewell tributary of the River Bandon, up to the ending of distilling in 1925.
